Controversy in the ranks of Milei due to the announcement of the slamming of the door by several legislators

A statement was released about the departure from LLA of a senator, three national deputies, four Mercosur parliamentarians and three provincial legislators, in rejection of Milei's pact with Macri and Bullrich. But later, two of them denied having signed the letter and others avoided confirming it.

La Libertad Avanza (LLA) was involved this Wednesday in a new controversy after the dissemination on networks of a letter that reported on the departure from the libertarian space of a senator and three national deputies, four Mercosur parliamentarians and three provincial legislators, all recently elected, in disagreement with Javier Milei's alliance with Patricia Bullrich and Mauricio Macri, which they consider "a moral and ideological limit." The statement had an impact since midday but the majority of the signatories, when consulted, avoided responding: two of those named denied having done so while one of them, elected as a Mercosur parliamentarian, ratified its validity and said that associating with Bullrich and Macri was "unpresentable" because it meant abandoning "the project against caste." The text of the letter reads as follows: "We, elected representatives of La Libertad Avanza and members of the political parties that comprise it, proud to be part of the rebirth of liberalism in the Argentine Republic, were summoned by Javier Milei, in the understanding of modernize the country's political system, promote the ideas of freedom, the free market, the deregulation of the economy, in short, the productive and economic normalization of the country." And he continues: "We respect the decision of our presidential candidate (for Milei) to form an agreement with Together for Change (JxC), but we cannot accompany this change of course only for electoral purposes." The document, which began to circulate mid-morning, bears the signatures of the elected national senators Ivana Arrascaeta (San Luis) and Bruno Olviera (San Juan) and the national deputies Lisandro Almirón (Corrientes), Pablo Ansaloni (Buenos Aires) and Gerardo González (Formosa), who were also elected in the elections of last October 22.
