The national senator of the Frente de Todos (FdT) and head of the Justicialist Party of the City of Buenos Aires, Mariano Recalde, thanked "the 600 thousand people of Buenos Aires" who supported the Union for the Homeland (UxP) proposal in that district, after the completion of the final scrutiny of the elections that were held last Sunday and in which Jorge Macri, from Together for Change, won as head of Government of the Federal Capital. "The final scrutiny of the City of Buenos Aires has ended. First of all, I want to thank the almost 600 thousand Buenos Aires residents who supported our proposal and trusted us with their vote. We made a great election and we managed to put the main problems on the agenda," said Recalde. in a message published on the social network X. In that sense, the legislator referred to "the urgency of repealing this Urban Code" that governs the City of Buenos Aires, and "the obligation to guarantee the right to education and housing" as the main demands that whoever was the candidate for the Buenos Aires Executive of UxP, Leandro Santoro, raised during the electoral campaign.
