The presidential candidate of Together for Change (JxC), Patricia Bullrich, announced this Thursday that if elected president she will repeal Employment Law 24,013 and "all the laws that have destroyed the concept of compensation," while she detailed that she will promote a new "labor regime that will have a 60% reduction in the cost of compensation." "It is going to be a labor regime that has a 60% reduction in the cost of compensation, which today is a sword of Damocles on all companies. We are going to 3 years-3 salaries, 10 years-10 salaries," Bullrich said in the 59th edition of the IDEA Colloquium, held in the city of Mar del Plata. During her speech, the former Minister of Security of Mauricio Macri (2015-2019) referred to the existence of "a trial industry" that is "terrible" and promised to "repeal all the laws that have destroyed the concept of compensation" in a possible government of yours. "For that we have to repeal several laws, starting with 24,013. We are going to do that quickly," he explained about the current Employment Law, which regulates the protection of unemployed workers; the promotion and defense of employment; productivity and the minimum, vital and mobile wage; compensation for unjustified dismissal, among other issues. The former Minister of Labor of Fernando de la Rúa (2000-2001) also indicated that she will promote "a special labor regime, simplified, cheap and economical" for those "who are in the informal sector" and those who "have social plans." "From day one we are going to ensure that social plans are not incompatible with work, in this way we are going to generate an overlap so that people can start working," he stressed.
