The Pumas already have the starting team that will face Samoa

The coach of the Argentine rugby team, Michael Cheika, announced this Wednesday the formation of Los Pumas that will face Samoa next Friday, in a key match that will be valid for the third date of Group D of the World Cup in France.

 

The starting lineup of Los Pumas, as announced by the Australian Cheika, will be the following: Thomas Gallo, Julián Montoya (captain) and Eduardo Bello; Guido Petti and Matías Alemanno, Pablo Matera, Marcos Kremer and Juan Martín González; Gonzalo Bertranou and Santiago Carreras; Mateo Carreras, Santiago Chocobares, Matías Moroni and Emiliano Boffelli; Juan Cruz Mallía

 

The designated substitute bench will be made up of Agustín Creevy, Mayco Vivas, Francisco Gómez Kodela, Pedro Rubiolo, Rodrigo Bruni, Tomás Cubelli, Nicolás Sánchez and Lucio Cinti.

 

The match will be played on Friday from 12:45 (Argentine time) at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, in the city of Saint-Étienne.

 

The Argentine team lost its World Cup debut against England 27-12, while Samoa defeated debutant Chile 43-10 last Saturday.

 

Argentina shares Group D along with Chile, Japan, Samoa and England.
