The Brazilian artist André Komatsu (1978) and the Argentines Enio Iommi (1926-2013) and Clorindo Testa (1923-2013), three visionary figures from different periods, intertwine their journeys in the exhibition "Hiato", which the gallery jointly organizes Del Infinito from Buenos Aires together with his peer Vermelho de São Paulo with the idea of putting into dialogue the exploration that these creators made with different approaches around the interaction between the human being, the environment and social transformation.

The exhibition, which also extols the ties between countries, galleries and artists of different generations, can be visited from Wednesday to October 10 at the Del Infinito gallery (Manuel Quintana 325) from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with free entrance.

Belonging to the generation that witnessed the democratic transition in Brazil and the adoption of neoliberalism in the 1990s, André Komatsu invites through his work to question the ways in which we interact with the world: "his ability to transform urban waste into pieces three-dimensional and installation highlights the duality of construction and deconstruction in our society", report from the gallery.

In his sculptures, we see how fragments of masonry and recycled materials become symbols of change and resistance, a representation of the power and conflicts that underlie our daily structures.

On the other hand, Clorindo Testa's work emerges from a training in architecture and is intertwined with his passion for abstraction: inspired by Le Corbusier, Testa revolutionizes the Argentine architectural scene with his brutalist approach.
